Maths

Power Maths

We now follow the Power Maths scheme of work with sequenced lessons that embrace the NCETM’s (National Centre for Excellence in the Teaching of Mathematics) definition of mastery. The scheme, which is recommended by the Department for Education, is designed to empower children to understand core concepts and to help them grow in confidence.

 

Please find attached below a breakdown of all units and how each lesson supports the children in understanding the Year 5 National Curriculum objectives.

 

 

Maths Flex - Maths Homework 

All Maths homework is set on Maths Flex. Please see the information below about how to access Maths Flex. It is set, monitored and reviewed weekly. The questions are designed to support your child's learning and challenge them. Your child will be given a log in to access Maths Flex at home but please let me know if you have any issues.
