Our Church Links

At St. John's CE (VC) Primary School, we value our close links with St. John's church in the parish of Keele. There are many ways in which we work in close partnership with our church:

Weekly Collective Worship

Every Monday morning Reverend Jones is welcomed into school to take our whole school worship. This gives our children a very good understanding of Christian worship.

Special Christian Services

We celebrate all the main Christian services at St. John's Church. The whole school, families and friends join together for Harvest, Christmas and Easter services. We are very fortunate to have our own orchestra accompany the singing.

Keele Chapel

Being in close proximity to Keele University, we also have close links with Keele Chapel. Every Christmas a choir of children join other choirs to take part in the  Keele Chapel Service.

SIAMS

As a Church of England School, we are inspected under SIAMS (Statutory inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) framework. A copy of our latest inspection can be found on the website.
