We hope you are all keeping safe and at least enjoying the sunshine. I just wanted to let you know how things will work from now on.
Every Monday I will update you via Tapestry and on the class website page with the phonics sound for the week and a number activity to focus on. During the week I also give you ideas of things to do at home, look at topics we haven’t covered yet and direct you to useful on-line resources.
For the time being we will be in school helping with childcare for key worker children so if you do need to get in touch please try the school number 01782 987140, however as the situation is changing all the time I will update you if I can no longer be contacted that way.
We are going to miss the children terribly so please use Tapestry to let them see any videos we upload and for you to share with us things you are doing at home. We look forward to all being back together again soon. Take care.
Mrs Stone and Mrs Clews.
We are looked after in Nursery by Mrs Emma Stone, Mrs Steph Clews and Mrs Jacky Hawkins-Farrow.

How to get involved
Parents and carers are a really important part of our Nursery life and we encourage everyone to get involved where they can.
Tapestry - this is the on-line Learning Journey we use for recording observations of the children but it is also a tool for parents to use at home. You will have access to Tapestry and be able to upload your own pictures from home so that we can hear all about their experiences outside of Nursery.
Stay and Play mornings - these are introduced once the children are settled after the start of the academic year. These are short sessions where you can stay with your child till about 9.30 and join in with their activities. We rotate the day each week so that everyone has a chance to attend.
