A warm welcome to our class.
The class teacher is Mr Jewitt.
Over the course of the year, we will study a wide range of topics. These include:
- Earth & Space
- The Romans
- The Anglo-Saxons & Vikings
- Earthquakes & North American study
- The Tudors
Friday 20th September - Individual Photos
Friday 20th September - Trip to Keele Observatory
Friday 4th October - Class Assembly
Friday 11th October - Trip to Chester with Class 4
PE will take place on a Tuesday and Thursday morning. Please ensure your child has both indoor and outdoor kit and a water bottle - including spare socks!
Spellings are tested every Friday - please don't lose your spelling log - bring it to school everyday.
Homework is given out on Thursdays and is to be handed in by the following Wednesday morning. Please check MyMaths.co.uk regularly for updated homework - you can also use this to support your child's learning even when homework isn't set. Some of the topics will also have a research task attached to them, where the pupil will have a number of weeks to complete the task.
Clarinet and flute are now on Monday; Guitar lessons are on Tuesday; Orchestra is on Wednesday; Drums are on Thursday; Violin is on Friday.
Please ensure your child has a water bottle in school every day.
