The snowy weather meant the children could talk about what they had done at the weekend and at school they had a chance to put their wellies on and build a snowman.

The following video has a lot of information about the different aspects of winter. The presenter speaks quickly but there are a lot of good facts that the children can learn from Jessie and Squeak!

You might want to watch one part of the video each day this week.

Brr! 5 Videos about Winter!

The snow is really coming down where Jessi lives, so she and Squeaks decided to stay indoors where it's nice and warm and look back on some of the amazing things they've learned about winter! Grab a fuzzy sweater and a mug of cocoa and join them!

After watching the video we predicted where a cup of snow might melt the fastest - on the table in the classroom, on a radiator or outside? We talked about making it a fair test by making sure each cup was fully filled with snow.

Have a go at home and see what happens?
