Good morning Class 5, I hope you've had a great weekend. Hopefully you're refreshed and ready to go again this week as we enter week 9 of home learning. This week in maths, you have work on measurements and there are a few MyMaths tasks to do throughout the week to help you along the way. In English, you have work on Macbeth to continue with.
As the work for the week is now all set on a Friday, you have a little more flexibility as to when you do some of the work. The maths and English need to be completed in the order they are set but you can do the other subjects in any order you wish. So if you don't fancy the art today but you do want to do the Friday philosophy, you can.
I hope you have a great week. I'll try to stay in touch through the week but keep your photos, work and videos coming through and I'll get them uploaded to our class page. Take care everyone and keep smiling.
This week we are looking at measurements and converting from one unit to another. There are 2 MyMaths tasks for you to complete first, which will help you with this week's learning. Then complete the sheet below.
Use your role on the walls from Friday to write a character description of either Macbeth or Lady Macbeth.
Topic & Art
Topic: Produce something about the life of Henry VIII and his 6 wives - take all week to do it well and be creative.
Art: Tudor monarchs loved their portraits. Try drawing your own of Henry VIII, any of his wives or his children.
