Monday 29th June

Good morning everyone.  I hope you all had a fantastic weekend.  We celebrated Sarah-Lou's 12th birthday on Saturday our house looked a bit like Hogwarts because she loves Harry Potter!  We have bought some new plants for our garden so braved the wind to put those in some new soil yesterday and gave the sheep some tlc. Our theme this week is the jungle so lots of animal noises, colourful drawings and paintings and jungle songs. I hope you enjoy it!

Physical Development

It's Monday so it'a P.E. day.  I know how many of you enjoyed our obstacle course idea when we did a few weeks ago  so maybe have a try again but do something different this time- climb over things, jump, roll sideways and crawl.  I would like you to see if you can (safely!) set up an obstacle course today maybe use dining chairs to make a tunnel to crawl through, do a two feet together jump over a pile of books or try some limbo!

There is also the new Joe Wicks for this week below.

'Cool' Activity - Active numbers.  Have a look at the cards and see if your can complete the actions for each number.

'Hot' Activity - We are looking at estimating this week. There are some ideas below to start getting used to this concept.  It is all about looking at objects and guessing how many there are but guess using your number skills, if one group of sweets is bigger than the other then the number will be higher.
