We hope that you have had a lovely weekend and a well deserved rest after a week of hard work last week.
This week it is Children's Mental Health Week. There will be some resources on the website to help to remind you to look after your mental health, especially whilst things are a bit different to usual. Remember to take some time this week to do things that you enjoy and relax. On Friday we are also celebrating 'Express Yourself' day. We would like you to dress up in your craziest/wackiest outfit and send a photo to the class email. The whole school can take part, so get involved! There will be a special gallery with your photos on for all to see and have a giggle!
In English, we are moving on to learning about persuasive brochures and leaflets. This week we will be learning to write one about St John's and then next week we will plan and write one about a place in the local area (maybe Alton Towers or Dimensions) or you could even make up your own exciting new tourist attraction! In Maths, you will be learning how to multiply and divide by 10 and 100 - a really useful skill. Plus there are lots of interesting lessons to take part in during your afternoon subjects too.
So, get stuck in and as always we cannot wait to see the fantastic work that you produce. Please carry on sending us your photos for our gallery! We are looking forward to seeing you either in school or on Google Meet for a times tables themed get together (check the calendar to find out your day). The new chapters of Gangsta Granny (or as Mrs Hales keeps calling it - Grangsta Ganny!) will be uploaded daily.
Keep working hard and keep smiling!
