Today, and in fact for the first three days of this week, you have a Target Maths style session. You have 6 areas to practise your skills in. Some of these areas will appear every day. You are expected to try all the questions - not just the area that may have been your target prior to lockdown. It's essentially an arithmetic session.
Today's work is designed to test your comma skills and also your ability to improve a text. See the sheet for details.
This week, you project is based on anything you want it to be based on - a free choice. What are you passionate about? What do you know a lot about? It might be gardening, football, ballet, a musical instrument, an author, dinosaurs, a computer game or anything else. I want you to put together a comprehensive guide to your choice of subject and spend the week doing it. Plan it out today: what areas are you going to cover? What might you need to research to improve your knowledge? How are you going to set it out? Then create it over the coming days and, as always, send them in when you are finished. I can't wait to see what you come up with and will look forward to reading or listening to them later in the week.
