Each week, homework is given out on a Wednesday and expected to be completed by the following Monday.

Expectations Each Week:

* Practise your weekly spellings (tested on Mondays).

* Read at least 3 times a week and record it in your diary.

* One Maths piece (see this week's below).

* One English piece (see below).

At the start of the Autumn term, the children were set a project to be completing at home. This is based on our topics ‘North America’ and ‘Dragons’. The children are encouraged to choose how they wish to present their home project and can range from using ICT skills, to creating models or even comic strips; whatever engages you. These are due to be brought into school during the first week back after the half-term holiday.

Maths: There is a task set on MyMaths: Rounding to 10 and 100. 


Maths: 'Working with thousands' task has been set on MyMaths.

English: Exercise for 'their, there and they're'. This is in your homework book.


Maths: A task on regular and irregular polygons has been set on MyMaths.

English: Complete the sheet on using 'ed' for the past tense of regular verbs (there is a copy in the Homework book).


Maths: Lines & Quadrilaterals on My Maths

English: Fronted Adverbials (There is a copy in the Homework Book). See PDF below:


Maths: Work on triangles (set on MyMaths).

English: Using conjunctions (sheet in homework book. The first page is compulsory, the second is an optional challenge if you wish to complete it).
