Today, we are going to imagine that somebody WAS missing a penguin... you!
You are going to create a missing poster for the penguin!
For this lesson, you will need your character description from yesterday! Once you are ready, watch this video to find out how you are going to do this...

Today, we will continue our learning on alternative spellings and pronunciations. We will be focusing on 'wh' as 'w'. Watch this video with Geraldine the Giraffe to find out more...
Practice reading 'w' and 'wh' sounds using these flashcards. Then choose three words and write each of these in a sentence. Remember to make sure that you spell each word correctly, using the correct 'w' spelling, and that you read each of your sentences out loud.
Practice reading and differentiating between real and nonsense words that contain the 'wh' spelling by reading each of the words out loud. Then fill in your key with a different colour for real and nonsense words and colour each word in correctly!
