Good morning, Topaz!
It has been a very strange week for us all but I hope you have managed to access the work we have set this week and began to establish your own routines whilst learning at home. I was back in school on Wednesday and managed to get to see those children who are able to come in to school. It was so nice seeing their smiling faces!
This lockdown, we have Google Classroom to help us to keep in touch. This means you have greater control over sending your work in to us and we will be able to provide you with feedback too. It also means your parents won't need the added job to e-mail your work over to us at the end of each day (a big thank you to those who have done this).
Today, I have set an assignment for you. This is where you will be able to upload photos of the work you have been completing today (or this week). From next week, an assignment will be set for you on Google Classroom each day so you are able to hand in your work for us to see and provide feedback. I have included a 'How to' guide for you to help with this. Please let us know if you have any issues.
Miss Wood e-mailed with some exciting news to share...
"St John's Spring Reading Challenge launches on Monday. Go to the Reading Champions page on our website to find your class reading challenge. All children who complete and return the challenge by Wednesday 10th February will earn a certificate and a badge. Good luck!"
I hope you have a great Friday and can't wait to see some of you at the meeting scheduled next week!
Mrs Winstone :)
