On behalf of the Parents and Teachers Association, I would like to say a big hello to all the parents and pupils of
St John’s Primary School.
The Committee members are as follows-
Chair: Stephanie Hill - Class 3 Teaching Assistant and HLTA.
Treasurers: Mrs Debbie Bennett (children in Class 2 and Class 5)
Secretary: Mrs Claire Welsh - Reception TA (child in Class 2 and Class 6)
For those parents new to St John’s everyone looks forward to the regular PTA events such as the Discos, Film Nights, Curry and Quiz Nights and Summer fairs. The PTA is open to all parents of the school, so please keep an eye on the notice board for information on meetings and events, as your support is crucial in continuing to fundraise successfully. We are always on the hunt for volunteer helpers, so if you can assist with anything, big or small please see Mrs. Hill
Fundraising is possible due to the continuing support of our parents and families; this deserves a big thank you.
Please see the latest PTA newsletter for more information about the PTA.

Here at St. John's from October we will be busy fundraising by collecting old British or foreign coins and notes, even obsolete currency.
Initially you'll see lots of posters around the school as well as a collection bucket in each class. Once all the currency has been collected we send it to www.cash4coins.co.uk who will exchange it into cash we can use. The bucket will be here all year so keep it coming please.
Class 2 collected the most coins this year and will receive a small prize each to say thank you.
